Rook Pie anyone?

I love the food up here in Yorkshire, and the Nag's Head at Pickhill is very good, and but I'm not at all sure I want to try the Rook Pie currently on the menu during May ...............

cant see they would be a lot different to pigeon or pheasant, my Dad used to eat rooks, and sparrows, bet they were fiddly to prepare.

Rooks you boil in milk and then make into a pie.If they are very young they taste more like a chicken Pheasant is a lot stringer in taste and pigeon a lot harder to digest.
