Nice hotel needed for irthday treat for boyfriend!

Im looking to book a nice hotel for the weekend (2nights) as a treat for my boyfriends birthday in March. Have looked at Hotel Du VIn. Can anyone suggest any hotels preferably with a nice bath? Near shops/pubs etc.

Thanks in advance!!

What about the Best Western opposite the Minster, normally that chain is well known for good onsite restaurants and facilities to.

Cedar court, Yorks only 5* hotel. Not sure on prices, maybe last minute.com worth a look!

Yep, I would suggest the Cedar Court Grand or Hotel du Vin Superior Room. My own personal choice would be the latter. Try the 4 course Sunday Lunch at the HdV, too!
