Any advice on getting accomodation during the Oxford Folk festival? How early should I book?

Oh - I must confess that I didn't know one was held here. I would suggest the same advice as for any other event - the earlier you book, the more likely you are to get the accommodation you want...

If the Oxford festival is similar to others I have been to in the UK, it will have negligible impact on the availability of accommodations. The vast majority of attendees will be local, those that come from away will be professional folkies who will camp or crash with fellow local folkies. The non-headline entertainers will also likely be accommodated in private homes.

I wouldn't book any earlier than I would normally book when visiting Oxford.

It normally happens in the Town Hall (and a few other venues like the Port Mahon) in Spring. It was in April this year.
