Thanks - I'll have a look at these.

It is an annual trip and we have found properties before - near to Dartmoor and on Exmoor for example. This year we thought we might like more of a 'city' break for some culture, but haven't been able to find the right property ....yet!

I am sure I saw Widcombe Manor in a couple of rental websites a few years ago (like English Country Cottages, but can't seem to find it).

I considered, and rejected due to slightly higher price, The Residence & Pendragon House. Likewise a combination of cottages & the Old Granary at Church Farm Cottages in Winsley.

Allvox recommended these guys to a hen party(?) a while ago
