Please help with info on photo

Two years ago, while in Bath, I took the photo below:

Memory being the wonderful thing that it is, I cannot for the life of me recall what that archway to the left lead to (if anything). I've checked on Google Maps and it appears there are two of them, but that doesn't help me figure out what they're for.

I can make out "The Island..." on the arch, but I'm not sure about the 3rd word (Club, maybe?). Curiousity is getting the best of me here, and I really would like to know more about these arches.

Total guess: They look like toilet entrances, or subways under the street to the park across the road, behind where the photo was taken from (gleaned from Google maps).

Near the Abbey?

It is now the entrance to a nightclub. Before that it was the entrance to some very grand public toilets, which is why there are two of them and they used to be labelled Ladies and Gents.

Not sure it's still open, it was named 'Bog Island' to many locals.

Politely, you might refer to this traffic island as "looking east to York Street". Waht you (probably) won't find on Google Earth is the local name, "Bog Island". There is a newsagents just to the right of your photo who got into a bit of a discussion with our planning authority when he put a "Bog Island News" awning over the shopfront.

Decades ago, there were indeed public loos (gents and ladies) below the arches. Circa 20 years ago it became a nightclub. Let's just say that nightclubs full of people with low ceilings and no aircon aren't a good combo: Raindrops kept falling on our heads! Quite what is down there these days, I don't know.

On a slightly more cultural point, the fountain used to be in Stall Street many years ago.
