Good Curry House

Hey folks,

Heading to Bath this weekend with my good wife! Going to catch the rugby game on Saturday afternoon and hoping to have an Indian that evening! Anybody recommend any place in particular?

THE Haldi in Fairfield park is superb. The Desh in Chelsea Road. In town I would say Jamuna. Eastern Eye-nice building, but average food. Raj Poot is near the ground, but I personally do not like it and it's very expensive.

I've eaten at The Eastern Eye and I thought the food was pretty good. The building is lovely. Only downside is that it gets VERY crowded on Saturday night. There's a little place in Weston called the Shaad which is very informal and only sells beer but you can bring your own booze and they don't charge corkage. They are rather good too, but are a bit of a way out of town. Rajpoot has apparently won lots of awards but I can't comment as I haven't been there.
