Hi - just wondering if we can hire bikes in Dunster - Thanks
brenella there are a couple of places in Minehead, only a couple of miles away,
If you are thinking of cycling around the area in summer be very careful, the traffic is dreadful and most locals won't do it. Make yourself very visible.
The cycle path does go along the main road though and there are lots of great places for offroading on mountain bikes & cycling clubs.
Thank you suebovington- you have been a lot more helpful than hooameye..looking forward to our couple of days in and around Dunster

Whats that supposed to mean, I was bumping you up to the top of the first page as you were already on the third page and sinking, nobody had answered your post. As you have 94 posts, I would assume you know how the forum works.........Obviously not.Edited: 21 April 2012, 19:59
Chill Hooameye, I was coming to your rescue!
brenella if it is only a couple of days there are so many lovely walks around there and a double decker open top bus that goes round the moor & along the coast. A great way to see the area and get photos. Also Blue Motors are a vintage coach which does moorland trips
Or a safari in a land rover, search - Exmoor Safaris. Takes you to out of the way places like Tarr Steps & searching for deer such.
With 2 days by the time you've seen the castle and Dunster and sat over a cream tea or cider it would take time out of your trip to go & hire cycles.
