Hi there, the Wet n wild is next to the royal quays shopping outlet area and ferry terminal so I'm sure there will be buses from town. If not you could get the metro from town to Percy Main and walk down. It would probably take you about 10 minutes. It is indoors but there is a little lagoon bit that goes outside (or did the last time I was there).

Wet and wild isn't exactly the best attraction going in the area. It's quite dated and in need of a good sprucing up! Can we help you decide on something else to do instead?

Can think of better places to go with a 15 yr old - wet n wild has had it's day really and when we last went, was in dire need of a thorough cleaning - not what you want in a swimming pool! How about Centre for Life - more hands on. Some street entertainment on Northumberland St and Eldon Square area thats worth stopping to see. Take the youngster out to do some (cold water!) surfing at Tynemouth - more trendy than wetnwild!

My 10 yr old was at a party there last Saturday - he thought it was great! If you go after 5.30pm then it's reduced entry fee -and quieter as most people have come early and left by then. The queues for the slides weren't too bad at that time either.
