Going to see florence and the machine 16th march could someone recommend a cheapish hotel near to the metro arena just somewhere to get our heads down and not to far away from nightlife as will be going out afterwards.

Thanks

Wow - that looks like one hell of a classy hotel!!

Make sure you look at the photos.

Try Jury's Inn - one very close, the other (quite new) in Gateshead.

There is a Holiday Inn Express very close by also.

The County is The Thistle at Central Station. Bit old fashioned these days but still a nice enough hotel. No more than a 10 minute walk to the Arena

You will probably want to go to the Gate complex, that seems to be the busiest on a weekend these days

Pablo you must walk quick for a 10 min walk from Central Station to the Arena....

OP your saying cheap and cheapish, but how cheap???

Have a look at the Holiday Inn as well, may well be busy with stag & hens but your not that far from a few watering holes and places to eat.

I usually have to walk quick after spending too long in the pub to be fair

It is only a 10 minute walk isn't it?

Can't imagine it would take much longer.

10 mins easy from arena to the station - but I don't think I would stay in Rooms Inn!! No matter how much you paid me!! Loved the review who said worst I've seen -and I'm from Middlesbrough!! Lol!! Good luck in your search
