Good Dog Friendly Hotel near Gateshead?

Was going to book the Copthorne until I read the reviews - so any ideas appreciated. Near to be within 15 minutes of Gateshead any direction. Many thanks.

There was an article in the newspaper yesterday saying the Travel Inn in Newcastle was trialing beds for dogs.

thats was travelodge actually

yes they might be adding special dog beds, but they have always allowed dogs anyway for £10 each, with a two maxium

i would recommend travelodge gateshead

Hi, Its a little out the way but about a 15 min drive but what about the Little Haven Hotel at South Shields, it over looks the beach & they have 2 rooms where they allow dogs for £5 per night.
