Is it a nice walk from Ann Hathaways into Stratford Town

Hi can anyone tell me if it is a nice walk from Ann Hathaways cottage into Stratford Town.

We are thinking about booking a cottage for a week and in the description states it is near Ann Hathaways cottage.

We have a young daughter so thought a cottage on the outskirts would suit us better {quietness} though we wish to go into the town daily . We dont mind the walk in as long as its only a mile as stated and as long as its a nice pleasurable walk and not one along a busy main road with cars whizzing past us can anyone help?

Hi,

There are various routes you can take, depending on exactly where you're staying. The signposted route takes you through little alleys along the backs of houses. But you can also walk along Shottery Road, which is quiet, or through the small park to the north of that road, both of which are quite pleasant walks.

If you're staying near Evesham Road, which is rather busy, there is a parallel pedestrian walkway near the racecourse, which follows a scenic route all the way into town.
