Hotels Near Hippodrome

Can anyone reccomend an inexpensive hotel/B & B near the Hippodrome for three people (2 adults 1 child)?

Many Thanks

The Ibis (Ladywell Walk) and Holiday Inn are within sight of the Hippodrome. Not sure if rooms will be big enough for 3 people so check first.

there are apartments very close by (100m away) that can be rented by the night - check out stayBirmingham apartments which have received excellent reviews on this site. tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g186402-d115…

Or you could try the Travelodge on Broad street. Their family rooms are more than big enough for you and are reasonably priced

The Hippodrome is only about 5 mins away by taxi too

I'd strongly recommend the StayBirmingham appartments in the Arcadian Centre (as per Brum74's post).

Had a look around them last week with a friend, whose family are coming over for a wedding, and they're lovely: spacious, clean, well equipped and seemingly quiet. If you get a good deal, they're certainly better value than a hotel room, particularly since you have the added advantage of a living room/kitchen separate from the bedroom, which may be useful if you're travelling with a child. And you certainly couldn't be closer to the Hippodrome.
