Best way to get to E-Tap from New street station

Hello,

I wonder what is the best and shortest way of getting from the train station to ETap Hotel. Is it a long walk - would the taxi fare be silly?

As Coming up from Cornwall and have never been before

Many thanks in Advance for your help

it's a very easy walk - but not if you have lots of luggage. You simply walk out of the Station, turn right and keep walking up to a roundabout with a chinese pagoda on it. Turn left, and the Etap is 200m down on your right. Total distance is about 500-600m

When you get to the roundabout with the pagoda on it you need to cross to the OTHER side of the road (behind the pagoda as it were), THEN turn left, and walk down the opposite (far) side of the Bristol Road.

If you turn left THIS side of the pagoda you will be the wrong side of the Bristol Road and it is difficult to cross the road as it is a dual carridgeway.
