Taking my wife to Birmingham for 1st time,we love chinese and have boked an overnight stay in the chinese quarter.Any recommendations for good food expensive or cheap i would appreciate the info as we are not clued up on the area.THANKS

Cafe Soya is always my default choice. They've got a website with the menu on but also do loads of specials.

It's great just walking around and looking, see what you fancy. If you can't make up your mind then Cafe Soya is likely to be your best bet.

I agree with previous posts, Cafe Soya is a great option. There are two venues, one small one in the Arcadian and then a larger, more restaurant like place slightly further along the road. Both are great, my husband and I normally opt for the larger Cafe Soya venue. Portions are generous so go with a hearty appetite!
