The Green Room and Le Truc. Both right by the Hippodrome with fast pre and post theatre service.

I am not sure what type of restaurant you want but the three nearest areas to eat are the Arcadian, the BullRing and the Mailbox.

The Arcadian is right next to the Hippodrome (yards away) and there are a few places to eat there.

Slightly further away (but still only a 5 minute walk) is the huge BullRing shopping centre, and at the "back" of this, near the church, are a number of places to eat. Note there are 3 or 4 restaurants outside the BullRing, near the church, but more places to eat inside the BullRing.

And also about a 5 minute (or slightly more) walk away is the Mailbox, again with a load of places to eat at the "back".

Those three places give you a choice of about 30 or more restaurants (maybe more, not counted), but note some are "High St chains" (Nandos etc).
