I'll be traveling soon to the UK for business and during this trip will need to travel from the Birmingham airport to Heathrow Terminal 4 to meet a colleague upon their arrival at T4. Because we will stay in London for several days before returning to Birmingham, I will be traveling with 2 small pieces of luggage (carry on size)..
The train/tube schedule seems like a somewhat intimidating trip for someone with luggage. National Express coaches seem to be not only much less costly, but also a bit more convenient due to the direct airport to airport service. However, I am completely unfamiliar with coach service in the UK, so I don't know if choosing this option is a wise move or not.
Can anyone guide me on making a good decision for this trip? Am I better off just taking the train to Marylebone and catching the Tube to LHR, or should I choose the coach option? I am not an inexperienced traveler, but this one's got me stumped.
