outlet shopping between leeds and liverpool

Hi all, We are travelling to Leeds to see a football match but are flying into Liverpool and hiring a car. Are there any shopping outlets on the route between the two cities that we could spend a couple of hours at as our flight home isn't until the evening after the football. We have been to Leeds a few times, so have shopped in the city centre before, but this is the first time we have travelled from Liverpool.

Have been to an outlet centre near Liverpool many years ago, Cheshire Oaks, but don't know if this is the only one, or if there is one nearer the Leeds end of the journey.

Try Boundary Mill at the end of the M65

Hi White Rose Shopping Centre, near to Leeds football ground,

Alternatively Trafford Centre,, near Manchester, off the M60, signposted (just) off the M62 Liverpool-Leeds motorway 230 shops

You could venture into York, where there is an outlet precinct. Its run by the same people who operate Cheshire Oaks.

Neither White Rose or Trafford Centre are outlet shopping.

If you are willing to go beyond Leeds then just off the M62 is Junction 32 which also has an indoor real ski slope

IMHO don't bother with the Lowry Centre - it's not worth a trip. Boundary Mill is OK but it'll add over an hour onto your route from Leeds to Liverpool. This side of he Pennines, Cheshire Oaks is the best one near your route.

Morning, there is a shopping park on Speke Boulevard that you could spend a few hours in, just over the road from Liverpool Airport.

It has a big NEXT, also an outlet Marks and Sparks plus a food to go. I have only been there once but I remember it to be quite big. I think this is the url for it.
