Civil Wedding...

Hello, Could anyone advise which is the nicer location to get married in Leeds Town Hall or Leeds Civic Hall? They both look great from outside but not sure what the rooms are like as the pictures online are not that great.

Hi,

I'd go for the civic hall. They are both lovely buildings inside. The town hall is bigger and loooks more speccy from the outside. Unfortunately it fronts onto a main rod at the bottom of the steps and is a bit busy and noisy. The civic is only 100 yards away, is a brighter building and fronts onto "traffic free " millenium square.

Good luck

Hi there. I attended a wedding at the Civic Hall last year and it was a lovely venue and the ladies who officiated the wedding were lovely. Also, as the previous person has said, you can get to walk across Millennium Square which will be buzzing with people all wanting to have a look at you. Perfect for making you feel special on your big day. :-)
