Can anyone give me a rough idea how much a taxi would cost from the train station to leeds/bradford airport and how long will it take to get there

I would expect a taxi to be just over £20 from the train station to the airport.Depending on traffic, journey time upwards of 30 mins.

There is the airport bus service that stops at the rail station too.Details are on the airport website.

Hope this helps.

If you get one of the Black & White taxis from outside the train station then the fare would be £25. As LBAlad has already said, journey time would be ~30 minutes.

For the cheaper option, the airport bus from the station is #757 and stops right in front of the eastern entrance of the train station (can't remember the stop number). This will take 45 minutes and I think the fare is £2.50 from the station to the airport - the driver will tell you the correct fare when you board.

We travel on the 757bus from station to LBA regularly. Early morningit only takes about 30mins if roads are quiet. If you have a concession pass (over 60) like us its free!! otherwiseits £2.50 & you can get a return. It stopsin the airport rightoutside Jet2 check in. We find it very reliable.
