Windsor castle from Canary wharf

Hi, how do I get from Canary wharf (Staying at the Hilton Canary Wharf) to Windsor castle by the tube.

Can tickets be bought before online?

From your hotel, walk across the dock bridge into the Canary Wharf complex. Take Jubilee line to Waterloo. Get National Rail train to Windsor from there. (The Waterloo service is a little slower than going from Paddington, but getting to Paddington from CWharf is a hassle).

Will you have any form of travelcard during your visit? That can affect what ticket(s) you need. Windsor is (just) outside London, so you will need a rail ticket of some sort - Oyster and/or travelcard aren't enough for this trip.
