Best Beach for Toddlers?

We are staying for a week in Bluestone in May with our 2 and a half year old twins. Looking forward to visiting the beautiful beaches - which are the best for families with toddlers within an hours drive of Bluestone?

Tenby, Amroth, Freshwater East... the list goes on and on. It would be harder to find a beach in that part of the world that is not suitable for toddlers.

Have a look here for more ideas

You would be best with sandy beaches that have car parks nearby that don't require a twenty minute clifftop walk before you get there. Many of these are also dog free beaches

The town beaches in the south, Tenby, Saundersfoot and Manorbier. Whitesands near St Davids,

In the west Newgale, Broad Haven come to mind. I'm sure there are others

Pendine is a 10 mile long beach, and you can drive onto it, so no need to carry everything from the car park.

You might also want to consider lifeguard / first aid posts. I think Tenby has lifeguards, Newgale and Whitesands certainly do. Newgale and Whitesands also have loos, which can be useful for small children!
