a guide for ancient sites

Can someone put me in touch, by internet, with someone who can guide me to 2 ancient sites around the village of St. Nicholas? Namely St. Lythans & Tinkinswood.

Any information how to get to these sites would be appreciated.

The nearest Tourist Information Centres are at Barry and at Cardiff. I would suggest e-mailing them and asking if they can suggest a guide or provide advice about visiting on your own.

Barry: Email: tourism@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk

Cardiff: Email: visitor@thecardiffinitiative.co.uk

I have had the occasion to use the Cardiff TIC. The were very friendly, but surprisingly stupid. Hopefully, a rare event.

I have a contact in South Wales. She said you will need a driver/guide unless you have your own car. She suggests a registered guide named Steve who can be contacted at enquiries@griffinguiding-wales.co.uk

If you gave your own car, Audrey would be your lady (she is very good) and can be reached at audgriff@myself.com

Please let me know how you get on.
