" days in Cardiff for 6 NAtions MAtch

We will be in Cardiff for 2days 11-12/3

It is our first trip to Wales. We would welcome any recommendations on sightseeing restaurants and coolest places where to have fun at night.

Any other tip is very welcome

thanks

Cardiff will probably be very busy on that weekend, but there will be plenty of good places to east and drink at the Brewery Quarter at the bottom of St Mary Street (just a few hundred metres from the stadium). Further along St Mary street there are also a number of nightclubs.

In the morning/lunchtime if the weather is good go to Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay (you can walk, bus, taxi or take the short train ride from Queen Street station which leaves every 15 minutes). At Mermaid Quay there are lots of cafes pubs and restaurants.

For sightseeing you can do a castle tour (especially if its raining) or see the National Museum and Gallery of Wales just a short walk from the castle. St Fagan's is the National History Museum which can be reached by bus, or a short train ride from Cardiff will take you to Caerphilly Castle - the largest in Britain afer Windsor Castle.

Otherwise find a good pub and enjoy some Brains bitter!
