Upmarket hotel with good disabled facilities

In January this year we took my wife's grandfather (93 years old and cannot walk far or manage stairs) for three nights at The Bushmills Inn and we/he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Looking for something similar and would include Donegal as a posible destination

What about lough eske castle hotel near donegal town? Several family members have been there on groupon/travelzoo deals and have all loved it. My parents visited recently and loved the pool and the tranquility of it. big rooms and it does say it has lifts and good disabled access.

In the same area Harvey's Point has special rooms for those with mobility issues. Ok they may be specially intended for wheelchair users but they would probably meet your requirements also?

Both hotels get good reviews on TA

Thanks Ponaire - ordinarily these would be very good ideas but I have discovered that a lot of Donegal hotels (eg Rathmullan and Lough Eske) are closing for large chunks of January and February

The Redcastle Hotel is open and gets decent TA reviews - can anyone give further advice on this or other choices?

Sorry haven't heard anything about the Redcastle. TA reviews are hard to gauge as overall seems good but quite a lot of one post wonders. A work colleague really enjoyed Ballyliffin Lodge which is open so that might be worth looking at although review wise it's a bit mixed.

Within NI what about the Radisson Roe Park at Limavady? It is a bit remote but if you're just looking for R&R might work. Galgorm also gets great reviews but is maybe just too close and far from tourist attractions?
