Belfast- Orlando flights with Globespan

Has anyone flown with Globespan from Belfast- Orlando-Belfast?

If so how were flights re seat pitch, meals , delays etc.

Are they more Easyjet than British Airways?

Thanks

I have flown with them from Glasgow- Orlando andy, but not from Belfast.I am sure they are the same planes used for each run.I am 6ft3 and i dont think i could go that long a journey with them again.

Our flights were on time, but today's flight back from there was cancelled from Orlando-Glasgow,my friends are on that one too,and they have said that Globespan have not given a reason for the cancellation.

A budget airline entirely.

It is a budget airline so if you could I would spend a wee bit extra for more leg room other wise you'll prob get the same as an easyjet flight. They do give their spec on the web site www.flyglobespan.com , hope this helps.

Get the Aircoach to Dublin and fly Aer Lingus. This December we fly non stop to Orlando for €149 each way (plus of course the taxes)

I know quite a few people who have used this route and they had no problems, the airline were having a few problems but they appear to have sorted it out. If you are anything like me I'm sure you could not be bothered travelling to Dublin or London I would just go ahead and book I'm sure it will be fine.

Globespan basic is very basic and comes in around £ 240 each way. Shift it up to premier economy and the costs go up steeply to get the service given in Aer Lingus economy. Certainly the Belfast/Dublin travel is a consideration but with the Aircoach at €12 return from outside Dublin terminal building to Jurys Inn, the route is worth considering. Aer Lingus also offers on-line check- in on trans atlantic flights so that speeds things up and avoids check in queues.

Really - 8th Sept

"Extra staff have been brought in to take calls from hundreds of disgruntled customers after their flights were axed.

Managers and supervisors at flyglobespan have been drafted in and staff have worked overtime to man the hotline.

As previously reported, the firm cut flights from Aberdeen to Alicante, Cyprus, Faro, Madeira, Palma and Prague from November to late March.

Its only remaining winter flights from the airport are to Malaga and Tenerife.

William Donald, 66, of Bucksburn, has cancelled a Benidorm holiday in December to celebrate his wife's 66th birthday.

He said: "I think it is an absolute disgrace. We are getting most of the money back, but we have lost our holiday now."
