The only way I can think of is Via Dublin by either bus or train or both. It would depend on your arrival time and destination, I know you could get to Westport but remoter places may be a problem these are transport links for the main companies although there are airport shuttles between Belfast and Dublin airports.

What about making my way to Sligo..is there a direct bus from Belfast to Sligo?Seems like a very long way to have to travel via Dublin to get to Mayo.

Get the 300 bus from the International airport to the City Centre then you will get onward travel from there, check out www.translink.co.uk.

From memory i think you would get a bus from Belfast to Enniskillen and then trf there depending on what part of Mayo you want to go to.

Good Luck
