Hi lads, new to the Belfast forum so hello I guess haha. Trying to plan a two night jaunt up from Dublin with the boyfriend for the Game of thrones Exhibition. Planning to travel up the Sunday morning [15th of june] and come back down the Tuesday. More than likely by train or bus, as neither of us drive
Been shopping around, and seems to be that the Holiday Inn on Ormeau which fits best. Was originally looking at the Premier Inn on Alfred Street, but for the sake of €40 I'd rather pay it for the free wifi, pool and gym, and breakfast!
Looked it up on google maps and seems to be within walking distance of about 15 minutes from the bus and train station, is this realistic? We'd like to cut costs wherever we can as we're just poor students and realistically don't have money to be taxi'ing around the place lol. Also, is it easy enough to walk to the waterfront and victoria square shopping and any other places of interest? I've heard Belfast is a small city, so should be easy enough to walk around. Also not sure about the public transport in Belfast at all really, so if anyone could shed some light on this it'd be great
