rest of trip ---itinerary for 3-4 days

Hello---again am asking advice from the TA specialists and experienced travelers. I have booked up until Nov.2 and need to figure out what might be a nice way to spend the time until early Nov 5. Our last stay will be in Dores for Loch Ness adventures. Prefer to stay where it is not too far to begin our trip south to London area. But just want some ideas what you all would do if you had this choice. The first part of my trip is in Borders, Perth area and around north coast and castles and then to Loch ness. Thanks a lot.

I would head for Skye. It's ruggedness is breathtaking.

Go west! Consider Skye, Torridon, Ardnamurchan, or the islands. If I had to choose a base I'd say Plockton. You can't beat the scenery.

The locks at the Caledonian Canal at Fort Augustus

Loch Ness Cruises including Jacobite

Also - your accommodation providers should be able to point you in the right direction of 'secret' local walks and attractions.

Have a good trip!
