Holiday planning

Hi there,

we, that is my girlfriend and me, are planning a two week holiday in Scotland. We want to see Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Highlands and spend some days on the coast. As our plans are a bit loose we would be thankful if anyone could provide us with more detailed information like tour recommendations or travel itineraries.

yes, sure: we´re 30+, our budget should allow us to rent a car but not to buy a castle and our interest is to see as many different sides of the country as possible and to experience at least a touch of the "real scotland".
