Citylink Explorer Pass - Is it worth it

We are in Edinburgh for about four days in August. We plan to go to Glasgow, Stirling, Melrose and Roslyn Chapel as well as have a good look around Edinburgh. Would the 3 out five day pass be worthwhile, please?

I don't think so. Only two out of those four places (Glasgow and Stirling) are served by Citylink, AFAIK, so you would be better off buying tickets as you go. Also, I would recommend the train rather than the bus when visiting Glasgow or Stirling from Edinburgh.
