Nairn worth a visit?

I will be visiting Cawdor castle in a couple of weeks and am thinking about going up to Nairn for a few hours after i leave.

Is it worth checking out, even if only for a walk along the beach.

Cheers.

I wouldn't, unless you want to stand out from the locals - they all skinny-dip.

(joking!)

The Basil Cafe at the harbour is great for breakie or lunch.

A walk on the beach - maybe a paddle are good. Nairn is also v. Good for golf. It also used to have a really good traditional bakers - Ashers - but I haven't. Visited them for ages so don't know if the standards are kept.

The clava stone circle nearby also worth a look.
