Extraordinary Honeymoon? Pls help

Hello all! I am planning a second honeymoon (not even married yet, but we love to travel and have decided to have two honeymoon trips!)

We are going to do one winter trip to Prague and Paris, and next April, we were thinking to do Scottish or English countryside. We will only have 5 or 6 days for the second trip.

I have been trying to do some research but am a bit overwhelmed. We would love to stay at a gorgeous hotel or luxurious cottage and be able to take walks in stunning landscapes...

I am considering stopping in Edinburgh and take day trips to the countryside perhaps?

I have been doing research on the forums and with google, but am just finding so many options and would love to hear from someone with personal experience.

Thanks in advance!

So far I'm thinking of Skye- maybe Toravaig House?

For scenery and countryside around Loch Lomond you could consider these ...

If you are thinking about Skye, how about Kinloch Lodge?

Thanks for the tip, I will look into that!

If you all had one place to visit in Scotland to see the most gorgeous countryside, where would you go?

For me it would have to be Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. I have lived near here for more than 60 years and I never tire of the scenery.

You are spoilt for choice. For a romantic stay in fabulous scenery, with good walks, how about the island of Colonsay. You can stay in the very civilised Colonsay Hotel, or at one of the cottages. See http://www.colonsayestate.co.uk/
