Is it a good month (first - second week) to visit scotland (north and south) for

visiting attractions

scenery -nature

events - cultural acivities

wildlife

weather

yes - no midges, no kids, chance of decent weather, things might be a bit light on cultural things as the Edinburgh Festivals will have just finished and Edinburgh needs time to recover
