Barcelona T2

I see Ryanair are now flying Prestwick to Barcelona T2, is this a new airport for them and are you now flying into Barcelona, when it used to be about 60 miles away ??

Perhaps better to post on the AIr Travel forum when your question is regarding Barcelona airport, rather than Edinburgh? tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowForum-g1-i10702-Air_Tr…

To answer your question, yes these Ryanair flights are to Barcelona's main airport, Barcelona El Prat. I think the T2 bit refers to terminal 2. Ryanair also fly to El Prat from Edinburgh and Jet2 fly to El Prat from Glasgow International (as opposed to Prestwick).

Last time we flew back from Barcelona Airport T2 seemed to be a short bus ride away from the main terminal. We picked up the bus under the main terminal building to it.

Yes, T2 is BCN (El Prat) Terminal 2. The other "Barcelona" airports used by Ryanair are Reus and Girona which are both about 100kms away.
