Car park is as safe as any multi-storey, several floors are reserved for station users. Found a website saying it's 60p an hour whch ties in with what I remember paying when using station a while ago -around £25 for a couple of days.
Check with hotel they might have a deal to offer cheaper rate.
If short of spaces, there is another multi-storey very nearby at Trinity Centre - may not be 24hr though.
Thanks, Will check with hotel.
Just stayed at the Jury's Inn on Tuesday night and had to park in the College Carpark. It cost £6.00 for the night but is a good 15 min walk across the station to the hotel. Also wouldn't want to be hanging around there after dark. Good luck with the hotel, see my review
Thanks for your help
If you exit the carpark directly into the train station and walk through there, it should only be a five minute walk yo the hotel.
Notice the jury's inn has been getting mixed reviews but my daughter stayed there last weeekend and had no complaints. Let's hope it;s just a few "teething" problems.
Yes, it is only about 5 minutes through the station, as it's only at the other side of the tracks.
However, please be aware that it is closed i.e. shutters/chains etc. from 1am to 5am. Only know that as a friend was locked out of getting to their car at 2am. Apparently there is a sign, but attached to the gates which are swung open, when the car park is open, so you drive through them and don't see the sign!
Don't think you'd have a problem getting parked there.
