Where's good for traditional Sunday Lunch in Oban

We are bringing some Spanish friends to Oban for Easter and would like to take them for a really good Sunday lunch.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

if its seafood your after you cant go wrong with either coast,ee-usk,seafood temple or the waterfront restaurant.if your after pub grub my favourites are coasters, the lorne or the waterfront bar which is below the waterfront restaurant on the calmac ferry pier.

If you want a really good traditional Sunday Lunch I have two recommendations for you south of Oban:-

The Shower of Herring Restaurant in Kilmelford, 16 miles south of Oban. They serve a proper Sunday Lunch and the food is fantastic, using the best of produce. Beautiful area, too, often missed by vistors to Oban. Tel: 01852 200345 www.showerofherring.co.uk

The Loch Melfort Hotel at Arduaine, 19 miles south of Oban. Excellent food and wonderful views.Close to Arduaine Gardens. Tel: 01852 200233

Hi Thanks for your recommendations. We will have a look at these whilst on holiday.

We are looking to try the seafood restaurants during the week we are up here.
