Me and my family are going to Scotland in August. We will be staying in Glasgow from Friday to Thursday and in Oban from Thursday to Sunday (returning to Glasgow for last night in order to catch an early flight on Monday). I set up a itinerary for our time in Oban I was wondering if someone could help me maybe alter it and add some tips.
Thursday - train to Oban (probably leaving Glasgow at noon)
Friday - ferry trip from Oban (Caledonian and MacBrayne or some other guided tour - I could use some tips)
Saturday - Isle of Seil (I´ve read there´s a bus from Oban to this island), Oban itself
Sunday - train to Glasgow (noon)
We are three adults in quite a qood physical condition, so we don´t mind walking around a bit.
We are not from the UK and my parents don´t speak much English, so I am a bit worried about visiting the castles or guided tours, because it might not be such a great experience for them?
Thanks to everyone who replies.
