Finnegan's Wake to Assembly Rooms.

We want to go to two shows in these venues, but will only have 15 mins between them. I know there are meters in George St., but am wondering if taxi travel would be best.

Can't see a taxi being faster even if you manage to get one.

It's an 11 min walk according to Google. There are buses from George IV Bridge to Hanover Street, which probably won't save much time. Walkit says 7 minutes if you walk fast.

Best walking route? Up the steps opposite Finnegans Wake, onto Nether Bow. Scott over the roundabout outside the Hub, and head down Milnes Court. Down the mound, up Hanover Street, Turn left along George Street.

My wife, who's asthmatic? No way she'd make it. I'm an old git. I'd make it.

Don't think of using a car.

Walking would be the best option. Between looking for taxis coming out of one ve ue, then traffic, I'd avoid it. Walking is the way to go.
