I quite like Jenners haberdashery section : Jenners is an old style department store in Princes St, now owned by House of Fraser, but has retained quite a good haberdashery section, though not to compare, I am sure, with a specialist shop.

Last time I was in Jenners (just after Christmas)they seemed to be removing their haberdashery section. John Lewis in the St James Centre has a good selection of wools, threads and other embroidery materials.

That is true - Unclegus is more of a cross-stitch a needlepoint man, though he's a dab hand at embroidery too.
