Night pub/music tours in Edinburgh?

My first time to Edinburgh and I'll be traveling solo. Anyone know of a good nightime tour that visits pubs with great music? Or a pub with music that is fit for a solo female traveler?

I went to Sandy's Bells. It's not far from the Grey Friars and the Museum of Scotland. They are often sessions. I went and sat at the bar and was able to hear the music. I had an interesting conversation with a mason--and I mean a mason who worked in stone! It was a good evening and comfortable for a single woman. Pam

and the guy who runs it http://www.graemeepearson.co.uk/ plays various pubs across the city and he's GREAT !! And its totally acceptable to sit and listen to music on your own
