If you mean 'Corstorphine Road' then you'd need to walk into Corstorphine or Roseburn or get a bus. Maybe a 20 minute or half hour walk. You'd be better taking a bus into town. Buses pass the hotel and are very frequent

There are about 5 or 6 bars a ten minute walk away in Corstorphine. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel and the buses are every few minutes heading the other way into town.

If you go West young man, you'll hit Corstorphine village. Try the Oak Inn or the Centurion. There are others http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=corstorphine&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x4887c67b779435fb:0x5c8bd63977de56b7,Corstorphine,+Edinburgh&gl=uk&ei=81kwT8r2LYju8QPIwZTqDg&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=2&ved=0CDkQ8gEwAQ

It''s a good hotel choice. The hotel is of a very good standard (right next to Edinburgh Zoo, so go see the pandas! The overspill car park is acually the zoo car park but when you take the parking ticket to hotel reception, you get most, if not all, your money back). As already stated there are several buses which stop outside the hotel and which will take you into the city centre (belive me, you will not want to take your car there as parking can be horrendous (finding a space and the cost).

There is also a new Wetherspoons (The White Lady) in Corstorphine. Turn right out of the hotel and a 10ish minute walk will have you there. There is also a Toby Carvery just along the road from the Wetherspoons.

If you like real ales there is a small pub called Winstons (features in the Camra guide) just down the road (Kirk Loan) beside the Sainsbury's Local..across the road from the White Lady. Follow that same road, turn right at the end and on the left you have the Corstorphine Inn,in the old Corstorphine village.
