Kid friendly Swimming Pools

Can anyone recommend a good swimming pool with a few slides or flumes? Looking for something to do with the kids in the early evening. Thanks.

Unfortunately the nearest pool with flumes in Edinburgh is at Dunbar or Perth since the Royal Commonwealth pool was refurbished and Leith waterworld closed down. However, there are lots of nice pools in Edinburgh just for a swim and a splash about- this link gives you detail of locations and opening times etc. edinburghleisure.co.uk/activities/…swimming

Bit of a trek, but we used to go through to Time Capsule in Glasgow. Watermark galore, fun for you as well as the kids. Definitely something Edinburgh is lacking.

I thought about ice skating but none of us can skate. Although I am sure the kids would pick it up easily. Not so sure if the adults would fair so well

Murrayfield is a full-sized rink, and spectators can stand pretty much all the way around the perimeter. So if you yourself didn't fancy venturing onto the ice, you can still get close to the action. I went for the first time a few years ago, if you have ever been skiing, rollerblading or skateboarding, you should stay upright!

Another idea for an early evening in Edinburgh (sorry if you have already considered this) is to go on one of the witches/ghosts/vaults tours on the Royal Mile. We have cinemas too, but that is obviously not unique to Edinburgh!
