Christmas Break 2013 Edinburgh

Hi We are 2 adults with 2 children aged 19 and 22 looking for a 4 night Christmas break in Edinburgh around 24th December to 28th December (flexible on dates). Any ideas please for either 3 or 4 star City Centre Hotels with maybe a Christmas programme.

The Christmas programme largely takes care of itself ... http://www.edinburghschristmas.com/

All the big hotels will do Christmas lunch, it's really a question of finding somewhere in budget.

I'm not up on 3/4*+Christmas stuff but I hope the website will help in due course. Unfortunately the idiots who run the site have removed the 2012 programme. Clever.

www.edinburgh.org/see-do/events/christmas is a bit more useful

I've just booked 3 nights arriving on the 24th December at the Apex International on a HB basis. We'll probably have Christmas lunch somewhere else in the City but the hotel is offering Christmas/Boxing Day lunch at an extra charge.

We are booked into the Apex City for 3 nights arriving on the 24th December. We will have Xmas day dinner at the Albannach on the Royal Mile (we did last year and it was great)..
