Good tour company from cruise ship dock

Anyone have information on getting to Saint Andrews from the cruise port?

The ship has a very short tour leaving at 2--6:00pm. Not long since it's an hour back and forth.

Traveling in July this year.

Thanks,jack

Which dock - Roysth, South Queensferry or Leith. Also when in July, how long will the ship be there and how many will be travelling?

Certainly seen guys coming ashore at 7am with their clubs, maybe from a different cruise company.

Thanks but I won't be golfing as much as it pains me to say that. I just get to look at the course and see the town.

If you know a reliable tour guide let me know

Best bet would be a taxi to Ferrytoll, then get the X58 or X60 or N58 Fife buses to St. Andrews from there, please bear in mind that it will be nearly a 2 hr journey by bus, with a change at Kirkcaldy.

By train, you are looking at Inverkeithing or North Queesferry to Leuchars, then Taxi to St. Andrews, which is 6 miles from Leuchars

Can I suggest that the X59 from Ferrytoll to St Andrews without changes may be a better bet and takes 1hr 20min

There's a local taxi service I use that might be able to help (there's no 'tours' as far as I know). Grahams Taxis on +44 138 341 3505. Ask for Ian and tell him Mr Playle in Dalgety Bay recommended him
