Central B&B with parking

We're picking up a coach at Glasgow Premier Travel Inn in October but need to leave our car for 5 nights and it doesn't appear to have parking. Can anyone suggest a reasonable b & b with parking in central Glasgow? It's an early start so don't want more than a short taxi drive if possible.

Which Glasgow Premier Travel Inn? There are three in the centre of Glasgow.

I thought the Premier Travel Inn on George St/Montrose St had

a deal with the NCP on Montrose Street for parking. Maybe worthwhile contacting the hotel. You might be able to get parking included if you use the Strathclyde Uni B&B (www.rescat.strath.ac.uk).

Hi bke, I do not know of any city centre B&B’s which provide off street parking whilst you are not staying there as parking is at a premium. Even most of the large hotels do not have their own parking and if they do then it is not free. I guess you are looking for somewhere secure to park your car. There are a few NCP car parks in the city centre but they are around £12-£14 per day (Mitchell Street is multi story and open 24 hrs)

Anyway here is a suggestion from left field. You can get long term parking at the airport for around £4.40 per day (maybe cheaper if you shop around). Take the bus to/from the airport for £5.50 return, the journey is only about 20 mins plus the short bus ride to the long term parking (under 5 mins). So book yourself into the PTI (probably cheaper at £55 p.n. than a B&B for two), drop off your luggage and one of you drive to the airport to drop the car off then get the bus back. Then for your early start you are right there to get picked up with no faffing about. So five days parking for under £30.

The B&B at Strathclye Uni is not available in October as the students are back then. They don’t have parking anyway according to the website.

Many thanks for the suggestion of parking at the airport! Hadn't thought of that one.
