You could try 78 Cafe Bar on Kelvinhaugh St, just of Argyle Street. Pretty much everywhere in the West End has veggie food on the menu in varying degrees though. If you fancy trying a place with a slightly hippy, bohemian vibe you could try Glasgow instutution Tchai Ovna tucked away in Otago Lane. A tolerance for incense would come in handy for the latter!

There are lots of veggie friendly places if not many actual veggie restaurants.

Purpleceltic is right, the 78 is worth a visit - it is a lovely relaxed homely place and has great veggie burgers and chips. Tchai ovna also good - as well as the comment on incense there is also a warning that if you are over 20 it may make you feel old.

Cafe Andaluz has a good selection of veggie tapas.

Paperinos has plenty veggie pizza and pasta.

Balbirs, the wee curry house and the Banana Leaf are good too.

Ichiban has quite a few veggie Japanese options

The refurbished Curlers Rest is also veg friendly.

Or if u are really desperate there is Hillhead underground to take the train to Edinburgh and David Bann.......
