Can I take a bus from Glasgow to Crieff
No direct services, Crieff is a small town. The above website will give your options
http://www.transportdirect.info and http://www.travelinescotland.com both provide comprehensive travel planning information for Scotland (they use the same comprehensive database but the first is more geared to advising a route at a specific time, and the second to providing detailed timetable information).
They advise that it is indeed possible but requires a change from coach to bus in Dunblane. Journey time typically two hours. Specifically, Scottish Citylink coach from Buchanan bus station towards Dundee, and then Stagecoach service 47 to Crieff. Service frequency looks to be about every two hours during the working day. There are alternatives which might prove more convenient depending on the time you intend to travel, including trains to Dunblane or Perth and then changing to a bus. The above sites can help you to explore the options.
Thank you John. I have passed your answer to my grandson here in Australia who is going to Crieff for a 'GAP' year working at a school there before coming home to Uni.
Crieff is a lovely little town and very centrally situated. He will enjoy his stay there.
