good food good boogie music for girlie trip

9 girls heading to Glasgow for mini school reunion at end of November (age 45!).......looking for somewhere to have food and somewhere that maybe does good music to dance to........a cheesy 70,s 80,s disco would be ideal....................does such a place exist????? Cheers!

For a girlie night out I'd nearly always recommend the Corinthian, it's an absolutely stunning building in the centre of Glasgow and contains a restaurant, multiple bars (champagne, cocktail, piano bars) and a casino. There is also a club downstairs but the music might not be to your liking. I'd say it's more modern music. The Corinthian caters for a slightly older age group, particularly females, really well in comparison to some of the other venues in Glasgow! http://www.thecorinthianclub.co.uk/

Another suggestion would be one-up, it's a lovely cocktail bar with a club at the back (again probably more modern music). http://www.oneupglasgow.co.uk/

If you have your heart set on dancing to cheesy music however the only place I can think of is Mansion House (http://www.mansionhouseglasgow.com/) again a huge place with restaurants and bars and there's a club in there called Groovy Wonderland which is 60's/70's music. I'll warn you though that you'll be surrounded by hen & stag do's. But if you're OK with that then this is probably the place for cheese in Glasgow!

Corinthian is fab for cocktails in the afternoon, 1 up for drinks n karaoke, living room for food (booths are good for larger groups and reflex for dancing...80,s club....total cheese.....you'll love it with the girls
