Good restaurant and or pubs around this area? Fish and Chips? any other suggestion would be appreciated. Any extra special sights that I should not miss in Glasgow?

For F&Chips up that end then Jack (fresh from the sea) McPhees at the top of Hope St across from Citizen M hotel.

Pubs? Hey it's Glasgow! You don't have to go to far!! But 400 yds further down Hope St you have the Pot Still which has a huge range of Whiskies.

Hop on Hop off bus for good overview of the City and attractions.

Forgot to mention but there is nothing on Killermont St as the Buchanan Bus Station occupies most of that area.

Thank you very much, but can I ask if is it worth eating at a Pub too?

Don't see why not? Unless it is something specific I tend to have pub grub myself.

Most well run pubs have extensive menus with good decent reasonably priced fare, just don't expect Michelen 5 stars!
