Hotel in Glasgow

We are flying into Glasgow and want to take a ferry to Islay. We are 2 senior couples looking for a convenient, clean, inexpensive place to stay for one night in Glasgow. Thank you.

Either of the above or the Holiday Inn next door the Holiday Inn Express would be ideal for catching either the bus or train next. The Holiday Inn is sometimes cheaper than the HI Express! It has a nice restaurant too.

If using public transport then use the following journey planner;

Bus journey to the ferry terminal takes 3hrs 18mins (it is around 105 miles) and there are only around 4 buses per day.
